Bopping Around Boulder + The Weekender Outfit

October 29, 2016

This past weekend, we hosted a friend here in town from Minnesota and found ourselves running all over the place! We spent our Saturday in Boulder, Colorado. Boulder is a hip town nestled near the Boulder Flatirons at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It is home to the University of Colorado-Boulder and is always a very happenin’ place! As a kid, I loved going up to Boulder to explore. To this day, I still love walking up Pearl Street Mall where a variety of street performers and eclectic shops can be found.

Boulder is incredibly vibrant. There’s always something to do or see.

One of my favorite shops in town is Peppercorn, an eclectic home/kitchen/bathroom goodies store. Everything is colorful and makes you drool just thinking of accessorizing your home. I had to document all my favorite teas as well of course…

Anyone else a Harney & Sons fan??

And of course, a trip anywhere isn’t complete with ice cream. Thanks Ben & Jerry’s!

This weekend, I found myself donning my new favorite Weekender Wardrobe!

Striped Shirt // Leggings // Converse // Tote

This top has been my favorite since I bought it a few weeks ago. I love the stripes and the soft material. It is long enough to wear over leggings, and short enough to be worn under a flannel or sweater. Lately I’ve been drawn towards more neutrals so this shirt has been my new staple! My Leggings are my favorite Lululemon Wunder Under Crops. I swear by these! I also have a long pair for the winter months, and pretty much live in these leggings. Long Live Wunder Unders! (The High Rise are also perfect for smoothing things out and not feeling like you need to constantly be pulling them up.) A few weeks ago I invested in these lovely Converse and am so happy I did! The white goes with everything and they are cute and comfortable for walking around in on the weekends!

And lastly, I love this brown bag from Old Navy. It looks similar to the Madewell tote, but for a lot less! It’s been perfect for throwing extra layers in, my wallet, and planner too.

All in all, such an enjoyable weekend cruising around Boulder with some dang good company!

Anything on your agenda for your next weekend trip??
