Inspired by Writing U’s inspiration to bring a little update about life to you, please grab your favorite drink, I’ll grab my Chai tea latte and let’s chat!
If We were to have coffee together…I would first tell you about the joy it’s been to teach this year. I’d delve deep into how humbling it’s been to be in charge of so many little minds’ learning and how I’ve so enjoyed getting to be creative in the classroom with my teaching. And then I’d probably dive in to my latest cute story from the classroom because no matter how many times I tell the same story about my kiddos, it never gets old.
If we were at coffee together I’d fill you in on my recent trips to Minneapolis and Iowa and how much I’ve appreciated the freedoms of working which gives me the liberty and flexibility to travel. I’d explain the fun sights and great people I’ve seen at my Alma Mater over Homecoming with some of my favorite people, as well as discuss the rich aroma of SpyHouse Coffee in Minneapolis as compared with the Fall weather. I’d tell you about how much I love Colorado but every trip back to the Midwest brings me so much joy and gratitude for the people I call family. I’m grateful for my roots and wings.
If we were at coffee together I’d share with you my excitement for Christmas and that no matter how much I listen to it, Christmas music never gets old, or the joy of prepping for the holidays.
If we were at coffee together I’d tell you about my love for running and that I am hoping to run another half marathon soon. It’s been too long since the last one. I’d also tell you that my favorite ski resort, Winter Park, opens in two days and I cannot wait to race down the slopes this season.
If we were at coffee together I’d tell you about how far I am in Greys Anatomy on Netflix and how obsessed I am with snicker doodle mug cake. (It’s heavenly)
And before we’d finish our coffees I’d hope to hear all about your adventures, and hear about the joy you find in each day!
Thank you for meeting up with me! I so appreciate your company! 🙂
