Happy First Day of Fall!
Fall brings something in the air that makes you stop and appreciate the little moments in life, a reminder to stop and take a look around. It’s a good time to soak up the changing colors of the leaves and take time for a little self-care.
I’m sticking with a smaller to-do list this Fall, as I do want to accomplish each item! I’ve definitely found that smaller is better for making goals.
Here’s what’s on my bucket list for this fall:
1 // See the changing leaves in the high country
The mountains are beautiful in the Fall, and the leaves cannot be missed! Last year’s colors were spectacular, and I can’t wait to see the changing colors this year!
2 // Go through a Corn Maze
There’s so many fun corn mazes around town, and there’s some really great ones that you can go through at night, even some haunted options for those seeking the thrill!
3 // Spend more time outdoors
With the cooler evenings brings a perfect time to take evening walks and sit out on the patio before the snow comes! Why not drink some apple cider while you’re at it?
4 // Take a mountain Fall hike
Perfect temperatures and beautiful fall foliage makes for some scenic hikes in the mountains. I’m hoping to get up to Maroon Bells this year or along the Dallas Divide!
5 // Go to a Fall Festival
Nothing quite like pumpkin picking, apple picking, and eating all the fall-themed food.
6 // Read some fall-themed books
To be honest with you, I’m so ready to pull out Harry Potter again or Wuthering Heights to curl up under a blanket with them. Any good Fall-Themed Books you’ve read?
