Update on the 101 in 1001
I can’t believe we’re getting down to the finale of my 101 in 1001 list, which I created in February of 2016. When I created the list, I had just seen Mackenzie Horan’s list on her blog and I was inspired to create one of my own. What I didn’t know was the amount of motivation this list would bring! It has been so nice to have a mini “guide” of activities I said I’d want to do when I created the list.
I’m definitely a big list person and being able to cross off some of the 101 items on the list has been fulfilling and has given me a sense of direction and accomplishment.
So if you’ve been following along…here’s what I’ve loved doing off of my 101 in 1001 list!
6 // Buying a Domain. This was a huge goal to go self-hosted and buy the domain for Lemonade Press. Definitely a thrill when that happened! I ended up going with BlueHost and have had a really great experience with them.
7 // Learn to Snowshoe. I had never been snowshoeing before this list (post on snowshoeing here) and I’m happy I decided to invest in my own pair of snowshoes! Who knew one list could help you branch out so much!?
8 // Run a Marathon: I’m almost 99.9% sure that when I put this goal on my list I was joking. HA. Joke’s on me! But so happy I decided to run Grandma’s last summer!
19 // Attend a Professional Hockey Game. Not sure why this was so important at the time, I think just because I had never been, but sheesh it’s enjoyable! I’ve become a bit hockey-obsessive since!
29 // Abstain from sugar for a month. This year was the perfect time before Christmas to detox on sugar. I noticed so many positive benefits from it, and it’s helped me limit my sugar intake overall.
32 // Go for one month without buying any new clothes. This was actually so beneficial! Just another reminder to be financially cautious and be able to create a budget for spending money.
35 // Visit the Beach. Living in a land-locked state comes with incredible views just no ocean. Cape Cod was such an amazing trip with two of my dear friends. Definitely a place I’d love to return to!
40 // 41 // Visit my brother in North Dakota and See a UND Men’s Hockey Game at the Ralph. What an amazing experience! I can’t recommend watching a hockey game at the Ralph Engelstad stadium. Talk about incredible.
81 // Top of a Lighthouse. Definitely magical and serene, and an echo of another time.
I’m grateful for these moments and more from the 101 in 1001! Excited to start a new list this August. (Hard to believe it’s here!)
Have you started a 101 in 1001 list? If so, what kinds of things did you add to your list? I’d love to hear!
