What I’ve Loved This Week

December 17, 2016

Happy Saturday! We woke up to a fresh six inches of snow this morning, and I could not be loving it more. I love the snow, especially because the mountains are getting pounded with snow–so ready to ski here soon!

While the temperatures have taken an unusually high dip (it’s supposed to be the coldest on record ever for Denver today – 6 degrees at the high), I am so grateful for a warm home and a comfy coat. I am also grateful for the ability to run in to the snow and shovel and appreciate the powdery flakes and then be able to run back inside for a warm cup of hot chocolate.

This week has definitely been packed. We don’t finish school until next week, so it’s been a full week for my students!

Here’s a few of my favorite things from this week!

1// Tribe21’s Posts

I’ve got to include the last few articles from Tribe21 because they’re just so darn good! I have really enjoyed being apart of this group of ladies, and the posts are always so creative and thoughtful! Here’s a few highlights: Blast from the Past Music Throwback, 8 Ways to Celebrate the Holidays With Your Tribe, Advice for the High School Senior, Holiday Gift Guide 2016. You can also check out Tribe21 on Twitter and Instagram!

2// “The Fresh Exchange” talked about Saving and Dreaming this week

I absolutely loved their honesty about saving money and appreciating what you have. So fitting for this time of year – and always!

3// Williams and Sonoma Hot Chocolate

This stuff is far too good. It makes such a wonderful Christmas gift! It comes in several tasty flavors, and I’ve been eyeing the Double Dark Hot Chocolate. Hurry, because it’s selling out fast! You can also find it at your closest store.

4// Spotify’s 2016 Playlist

I just discovered Spotify put out an individualized playlist from 2016 for each user. I love the playlist Spotify made for me, and all of the songs on it I LOVE. If you haven’t checked out your playlist, search under the Discover tab!

5// Best Jackie O Quotes

I love this list from Town and Country.

From Lemonade Press Blog:

a// The second in the Seasons of Joy series post went live yesterday!

I’m so pleased to host Morgan’s post from LadyIlg Photography. In her post on Joy, she talks about how Joy is a choice, and we all can choose to live each day with Joy. I hope you’ll enjoy it! {You can see Post One and post Two  from Erin here.}

b// Hallmark Christmas Movies

I posted this week about some of my favorite Christmas movies which are always upbeat and enjoyable, you can find the post here!

c// From the Archives

Other popular posts which have surfaced this week have been, The Things We Leave Behind, Mountain Love, and Colorado Rockies Road Trip.

I’m looking forward to a few Christmas and birthday celebrations this weekend as well as spending time inside warming up!

What is something you’re looking forward to this weekend?
